MUZAFFARGARH: A student of Class IX committed self-immolation due to mistreatment of his family and teacher in Muzaffargarh on Tuesday.

This incident happened a day after a Grade VII student of Abbottabad lost his life after committing suicide.

According to police, Mudassir, a resident of Basaira locality, is enrolled in Government High School Basaira. He poured petrol over himself and lit the match. He was shifted to Nishtar Medical Hospital in Multan.

According to hospital sources, his body is 50 percent burnt.

The boy was reportedly disheartened with the treatment of his teacher and family members. SAMAA
