Hot, dry weather predicted for next 24 hours in country

ISLAMABAD: The Meteorological Department has predicted hot and dry weather, for most parts of the country, during next 24 hours, SAMAA reported on Sunday.

According to the Meteorological Department, during next few days it is likely that the intensity of heat will mount further in plain areas of the country.

During last 24 hours weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country while light rain with winds and lightening poured in few areas included Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir, Hazara and Gujranwala Division.

The highest temperature during last 24 hours was 46 degree centigrade and it was recorded in Dadu while second highest, 45.5 degree centigrade, was recorded in Larkana.

The third highest temperature during last 24 hours, 45 degree centigrade, was recorded in many parts of Sindh included Nawabshah, Pad Eedan and Moen-jo-Daro while in Sukkur and Jackobabad, it was recorded 44 degree centigrade.

The meteorological Department has predicted this day that the hot and dry weather will prevail in most parts of the country during next 24 hours. SAMAA
