DSP Nazir Abro suspended after exchanging allegations with DIG, Karachi

Staff Report

KARACHI: Sindh Inspector General of Police has suspended DSP Nazir Abro after exchange of serious allegations with the DIG of Karachi (East).

Earlier, DSO Nazir Abro leveled serious allegations on DIG, Karachi (East) Capatain Tahir Naveed, saying that he is the most corrupt officer in Sindh police who takes bribe from officers for postings and other issues.

Capatain Tahir Naveed said in his reply that if he was corrupt then why DSP Nazir Abro did not see that corruption during his posting at Aziz Bhatti Police Station.

DSP Nazir Abro said in a statement that an officer like Captain Tahir Naveed should not be in the police forces. Capatain Tahir Naveed said in reply that DSP Nazir Abro is black scar on department’s name.

Finally, the Sindh IGP has suspended DSP Nazir Abro for giving statements against a senior officer. SAMAA
