ISLAMABAD: PML-N President Mian Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday met with Turkey’s Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Islamabad and discussed matters concerning Pak-Turk bilateral ties.
Following the meeting, Nawaz Sharif said that bilateral relations and regional situation came under discussion in the meeting.
He said the two leaders talked about ways to boost economic ties between the two brotherly nations.
“I told the Turkish Premier that Pakistan’s sovereignty and integrity should be respected,” he said.
Pakistan has rendered innumerable sacrifices to restore pace in the region, he said, adding that these efforts for regional peace should be recognized.
Nawaz Sharif said that Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif is working together with Turk brothers. SAMAA
