Punjab raises atta price by four rupees

LAHORE: The price of atta has been hiked up by Rs.4.25 per kilogram in Punjab, SAMAA reports Thursday.

Distraught by multiple crises of power and gas in the province, citizens protested against the fresh hike, as after the recent price raise, the 20-kg flour sack mounted by Rs. 85 to Rs.450.

Punjab's Flourmills Association increased the atta price that now now stands at Rs.34.25 soaring from Rs.30 per kilogram. SAMAA
