Malaysia beat Pakistan in Junior Asia Hockey Cup final

MALACCA: Malaysia have won the seventh Junior Asia Hockey Cup beating Pakistan by 2-1 here on Sunday.

Malaysia outclassed Pakistan in an aggressive play of the tournament.

Only one goal was scored in total five penalty corners.

From Pakistan side Muhammad Irfan scored the only goal.

Earlier, Pakistan defeated South Korea in the semi final.

Malaysia had defeated defending champions India 2-0 to book their final berth.

Pakistan routed South Korea 6-0. Muhammad Dilbar scored a hatrick during the first-half of the match.

Hockey teams from China, India, Iran, Japan, Korea, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Malaysia participated in the 10-day-long 7th Junior Asia Hockey Cup tournament. SAMAA
