ISLAMABAD: The most parts of the country will remain dry and hot during the next 24 hours, the Meteorological Department forecast on Tuesday.
According to Met Department, dusty gales are expected to blow in the afternoons in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and some areas of Sindh during the next two to three days.
The southern parts of the country will continue to bask under the scorching heat wave for two days, According to Met Deptt.
Met Department also said the northeastern Balochistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper Punjab and some areas of Kashmir received showers coupled with thunderstorm during the last 24 hours. The most rain was recorded in Parachinar at 11 millimeter.
The highest temperature was recorded yesterday at 44 degree centigrade in Dadu. SAMAA
