Imran challenges Nawaz to hold rallies in Karachi, Quetta

Staff Report

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan Sunday challenged Nawaz Sharif to hold rallies in Karachi and Quetta if he wanted to become the country’s prime minister.

Addressing a rally to show solidarity with judiciary, he announced that PTI would hold a rally in Rawalpindi’s Liaquatbagh on May 27.

He said participants of today’s rally had gathered to make a new Pakistan.

“This Pakistan will be free, judiciary will be free and the police will not be politicized,” he explained.

The PTI chief said those who wanted to continue with corruption would never let the judiciary be free.

“The day the judiciary is destroyed will also be the day democracy is destroyed.”

Khan further said that the Prime Minister was adamant on saving the money of a criminal and if the orders of the Supreme Court were not implemented than the PTI would organize the largest march in the history of Pakistan. SAMAA
