PM welcomes lawyers' decision to reject long march: PM

Staff Report

LAHORE: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani said Sunday lawyers voted in favour of the Constitution by not supporting the PML-N’s call to hold a long march.

The Prime Minister said Zardari and Gilani had challenged the dictatorship and would do so again.

He said these people would be outside the country again.

He questioned why Sharif brothers had not remembered Swiss cases while signing the charter of democracy (CoD).

“The Constitution gives me the right to appeal. Elections will take place as per schedule,” he said. SAMAA
