KARACHI: Three activists of a political party were gunned down in firing incidents occurred at Kati Paharri area of the city on Saturday.
According to police unidentified gunmen opened fire on the political activists, leaving one dead at the spot while the other one was severely injured.
The injured activist was taken to a hospital for treatment but he succumbed to injuries.
The toll of killed political activists has mounted to three, police said.
After the killings, angry and violent people burnt motorcycles.
Spokesman of the Bilawal House said that two killed activists, Imran and Muzamil were Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) workers.
The PPP cannot be frightened by such incidents, spokesman added. SAMAA
