Karachi- Balochistan bus service suspended

Staff Report

KARACHI: Bus service to Balochistan has been suspended due to the Lyari operation, SAMAA reported Friday.

Passengers going to Quetta, Panjgoor, Gwadar and Turbat faced inconvenience due to the problem.

The bus service association said that the service would be suspended until the operation is not finished in Lyari.

It should be mentioned here that Federal Interior Minister Rehman A. Malik announced today to bring a temporary halt to Lyari operation with 72-hour ultimatum to the mischief-mongers to surrender to the state.

On the other hand, the SSP of Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of Sindh police, Chaudhry Aslam Friday said he has not received any orders to halt the Lyari operation. SAMAA
