KHAIRPUR: At least ten men sustained injuries during two rival groups’ massive armed clash in Khairpur, SAMAA reported on Friday.
According to details, some unknown culprits torched four cabins of Pan Vendors in Khairpur this day; immediately after that armed clash and exchange of fire started between two rival groups of the city.
Both armed groups’ at least ten supporters sustain injuries while police opened fire and shelling to disburse the furious people from the scene.
Some armed men started damaging property and belongings and tried to close entire city forcefully.
Heavy contingent of police rushed to control the riots; all injured were moved to a local hospital for medical assistance.
Rumors of curfew in the city spread rapidly all over but the Deputy Commissioner of Khairpur, Muhammad Abbas Baloch, discarded those all.
Tension prevails in Khairpur after today’s massive armed clash between rival groups and police shelling while all exits and entrances of the city are sealed off to avoid further unrest. SAMAA
