KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Husain had a telephonic conversation with Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani on Friday.
He expressed complete solidarity with Gilani, who is under fire after the Supreme Court (SC) convicted him on Thursday.
Altaf also condemned PPP workers’ killing in Lyari.
The MQM chief assured him of MQM’s partnership for lasting democracy.
He termed Gilani’s address in the National Assembly as ‘exemplary and logical’.
In the reply, Gilani also praised Altaf for his continuous support and leadership. SAMAA
