ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Tuesday resumed hearing of the Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani’s contempt of court case, SAMAA reports.
The PM has been facing the contempt case in now-annulled National Reconciliation Ordinance implementation case since January 19, 2012 over his reluctance to write to Swiss authorities for reopening money laundering cases against President Asif Ali Zardari.
A seven-member bench, headed by Justice Nasirul Mulk, was hearing the case wherein Attorney General Abdul Qadir contented before the jury as a Prosecutor General.
It merits mentioning here that PM’s counsel Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan has concluded his arguments in the contempt case hearing. SAMAA
