Gun attacks leave 5 more dead in Karachi

KARACHI: Despite the presence of President Asif Ali Zardari and Interior Minister Rehman Malik, there was no let up in violent attacks that left another five people killed in Karachi on Monday.

According to reports, unknown gunmen shot and injured Zulfiqar, who was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his wounds.

A 40-year-old man was shot to death near Qatar Hospital in Orangi Town. The victim was identified as Naseem Khan.

In another incident, 45-year-old Syed Badshah and 25-year-old Lal Jan were killed when unknown gunmen opened fire on them at Ayub Goth in New Karachi.

Besides, a man shot and killed his mother-in-law and injured his wife over domestic dispute in Landhi. SAMAA
