Staff Report

RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani conferred military awards to the Army personnel in an investiture ceremony held at General Headquarters today.

According to an Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release, a large number of senior military officials and relatives of awardees attended the ceremony.

HILAL-E-IMTIAZ (MILITARY) were awarded to 26 officers, thirteen officers and 37 soldiers were awarded TAMGHA-E-BISALAT and 2 officers and 5 soldiers were awarded United Nations (UN) Medal.

Medals of Shuhada (martyred) were received by their family members. SAMAA
