KARACHI: Murder of three people in Karachi North Nazimabad triggered protest demonstrations in the area on Wednesday, SAMAA reports.
Burning tyres on roads and blocking roundabouts, people protested against the killing of a hotel owner who was shot dead along with his son and a worker.
The victims – Allah Dost, Matee Ullah and Muhammad Abbas – were targeted by unknown assailants inside their hotel near Pahar Ganj roundabout in Shar-e-Noor Jahan police limits on Tuesday.
Staging protest against the killings, the infuriated mob also pelted vehicles with stones, suspending the traffic movement and causing a severe gridlock in North Nazimabad.
They called for action against police officials over their failure to curb the firing incidents. SAMAA
