Altaf urges Ulema to end sectarian killings

Staff Report

LONDON/ KARACHI: Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain termed the sectarian killings as a dangerous conspiracy, SAMAA reported Saturday.

‘Those who are involved in sectarian killings must be arrested immediately’, he said.

In a statement issued from London, the MQM chief urged religious scholars (ulema) to play their role in making peace in Karachi and end killings.

‘Every attempt should be made to end the unrest and sectarian killings in the city’, he added. SAMAA
