 Formation Commanders’ meeting decides to bolster Siachen rescue efforts

RAWALPINDI: The Formation Commanders have decided to bolster Siachen rescue efforts to maximum possible level today, SAMAA reported on Monday.

All formation commanders, principal staff officers and corp. commanders were present in formation commanders’ meeting led by COAS General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani in GHQ, Rawalpindi this day.

The meeting offered Fatiha (Prayers) for those who have martyred in deadly Siachen avalanche incident and decided to bolster the rescue efforts up to the maximum capacity.

The formation commanders’ meeting also reviewed regional security and prevailing situation at Pak-Afghan borders. SAMAA
