Mian Iftikhar urges better Pak-US ties

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Minister Mian Iftikhar Hussain stressed on the need to have friendly ties with the United States for the sake of the country’s existence.

Speaking to newsmen in Peshawar, Hussain said NATO supply could be restored if the US gave guarantee there would be no cross-border strike in the future.

Hussain said politicians, who are opposing the US, had been its friend in the past.

He said that there should be no hesitance in accepting positive American initiatives in Pakistan.

Pakistan should have better ties with all countries, including the US, he opined. SAMAA
