Altaf Hussain welcomes Zardari’s India visit

LONDON/ KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has welcomed President Zardari’s India visit, SAMAA reported Sunday.

In a statement issued from London, the MQM chief said Pakistan needs to have good relations with neighboring countries including India.

People of both countries want peaceful and friendly relations between India and Pakistan, Hussain said.

President Asif Ali Zardari is on India’s visit, where he met Prime Minister Manmohan Singh also.

It was said earlier, that it is a personal visit of the president in which he wanted to pay respects at the mausoleum of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti at Ajmer Sharif. SAMAA
