ISLAMABAD: Seven short listed candidates’ final interviews were taken for appointment on OGRA chief’s post, SAMAA reported on Tuesday.

A nine-member team led by Federal Finance Minister Hafiz Sheikh took final interviews of the seven short listed candidates in Islamabad.

Amongst the interviewed short listed candidates were included Additional Secretary Petroleum Naeem Malik, former additional finance secretary Iqbal Awan, Saeed Ahmad Khan, Nasir Munir, Hussain Babar, Umara Saeed Malik and Itrat Rizvi.

One year ago, former OGRA chairman Tauqeer Sadiq had been removed for fake degree and corruption allegations and since then this post is vacant. SAMAA
