LAHORE: A shutter-down strike is being observed today (Saturday) by traders against the worst electricity load-shedding in the city.
All major markets are lying closed due to the strike.
Trader unions also held a protest and chanted slogans against the federal government.
Traders say long power cuts have ruined their business.
Meanwhile, two groups of traders clashed on Mall Road on the issue of opening of shops.
The group supporting the strike has termed it very successful while the rival group has called the strike as failure.
