KARACHI: In protest against the killings of four people near Banaras Flyover on late Friday night, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has announced day of mourning today (Saturday), reports SAMAA.
At least six people were shot at on Banaras Flyover in Orangi Town locality who were rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for treatment but four of them succumbed to injuries.
According to MQM’s statement, the coordination committee strongly flayed the killings of innocent citizens in Orangi.
The members of MQM’s coordination committee have appealed to shop owners, traders and industrialists to keep their businesses closed in metropolis today to express solidarity with the bereaved families.
Also, there is a very thin public transport on roads, as Karachi Transport Ittehad (KTI) has announced to stand by MQM in its day of mourning today. SAMAA
