KARACHI: At least four among those six people, injured in an incident of incessant gun attack by unidentified assailants near Banaras Flyover, have breathed their last during treatment at a local hospital here in metropolis late Friday night, reports SAMAA.
The overall death toll in a day from the incidents of targeted-killings in the financial hub of Pakistan has climbed to 12.
Deceased also include a man and his son while two remaining injured are still battling for survival at hospital. Doctors said injured are critical in condition adding they are trying their best to save them.
Dead were identified as Waseem (father), Hassan (son) and Sami, police said.
Meanwhile, Quaid Muttahida Qaumi Movement Altaf Hussain, reacting to fresh spree of fatal gun attacks, has issued strong condemnation via statement issued from London, calling for arrest of killers.
Also, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah has called on President Asif Ali Zardari over the derailed law and order situation in Karachi.
