Altaf appeals people of Karachi for peace

Staff Report

LONDON/ KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain appealed the people of Karachi on Friday to form vigilance committees to maintain peace.

Altaf expressed his grave concern over increasing incidents of terrorism, dacoities, street crimes and extortion in the city.

In a statement he said that the people of the city must take security measures on personal level.

The MQM chief urged for formation of vigilance committees for safety of all the people. SAMAA
