NAB arrests GM Railways Saeed Akhtar under corruption charges

ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has arrested GM Railways Saeed Akhtar under charges of corruption and fraud today, SAMAA reported on Thursday.

The NAB spokesman confirmed that GM Railways Saeed Akhtar has been arrested today under allegations of corruption and fraud; he will be sent to NAB Lahore for further interrogation.

It is worth mentioning here that GM Railways Saeed Akhtar completed his two-year service period on March 3 and on same date his service period was extended for another year.

Expectedly, Saeed Akhtar will be presented before the NAB court on Friday (tomorrow). SAMAA
