President Zardari contacts MQM chief Altaf Hussain on telephone

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari has telephoned MQM chief Altaf Hussain today and discussed prevailing situation especially law and order condition in Karachi, SAMAA reported on Thursday.

The Mutahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief, Altaf Hussain, shared with President Zardari details of the killings of MQM PIB Sector Committee Member Mansoor Mukhtar and his brother Masood Mukhtar by banned Peace Committee.

President Zardari assured Altaf Hussain that he will personally go to Karachi and convene a meeting on the law and order condition of the metropolis.

Altaf Hussain also enquired about the well being of the President, during talks on the telephone this evening. SAMAA
