SHEIKHUPURA: Three of five police officials, accused of raping a girl, student of first year college, have been booked by the law enforcement agencies on Wednesday, reports SAMAA.
Two remaining rapists are still at large; police said adding that the crackdowns for arresting the fleeing accused are underway.
According to details, five policemen kidnapped an ill-fated college-going girl from Ghang area, gang-raped her and fled away after dumping the poor lady on street.
Victimized family claimed that it took police force at least five days after the crime took place to register rape and kidnapping case against the vicious criminals.
Later, upon the suo motto notice, taken by the Supreme Court of Pakistan, security agencies came into action by raiding Dera Khursheed area and ended up, nabbing one Elite Force personnel, one Muhafiz Force personnel and one Police line official but two of their accomplices managed to escape.
Suspected sanctuaries of offenders are being raided to arrest the fleeing rapists, officials said adding, the car used for kidnapping and for the subsequent offense has also been seized.
Accused would be produced before Supreme Court after filing challan against them within two days, police added. SAMAA
