ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Tuesday took the Central Government to task on power crisis.
Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said Punjab has been pushed back to Stone Age. He said his party would support traders’ announcement to hold long march.
The chief minister said energy crisis has led to closure of factories in the province, causing huge financial losses.
Mr Sharif said 700 MW of Punjab’s electricity was going out of the province. He warned that he would not hesitance to hold another long march for the rights of Punjab.
PML-Q leader Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain accused the PML-N of fanning unrest in the Punjab at the pretext of power outages.
