KARACHI: The main accused involved in the firing at the mushaira convened by Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) in the city yesterday night, has been arrested, SAMAA reports Monday.

Boat Basin Police registered a case with the state as the complainant regarding firearm attack at the World Mushaira held in Defence area near Do-Talwar late yesterday night.

Police arrested at least 12 miscreants including the key culprits Muneer Khan over attack charges. Further investigations are underway.

It should be mentioned here police retaliated the fire outside the mushaira venue, injuring one of the attackers; he was rushed to hospital where he succumbed to injuries. SAMAA
