PM threatens reckless ministers

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani, warning the ministers from Federal Cabinet against underperforming in connection with addressing people’s grievances, has threatened that the ministers who failed to deliver to the people may be neglected during shuffling in cabinet, reports SAMAA.

Federal Cabinet held its meeting with the leader of the house PM in chair. The meeting urged ministers to resolves the sufferings of people. Ministers should serve the people not only of their constituencies but of the entire Pakistan.

PM Gilani directed the ministers to serve people day in day out. “Restore the confidence of people of four provinces on the leadership of PPP,” the premier advised the ministers.

Upon conclusion, the Minister for Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan told the press conference the cabinet was also briefed over inflation and Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) during the meeting. SAMAA
