Hafeez, Nasir hit 50s VS India; Pak 106-0

Staff Report

MIR PUR: Half centuries by Pakistani openers, Mohammad Hafeez and Nasir Jamshed, propelled the Green Shirts on Sunday to 106-0 from 18 overs vs India in Asia Cup fixture at the Sher-e-Bangla National stadium of Bangladesh.

Earlier, Pakistani captain Misbah-ul-Haq won the toss and decided to bat.

At Pakistan side, Sarfraz Ahmed is not playing as Wahab Riaz is included in the team. Umar Akmal will keep the wicket.

Indian side is led by MS Dhoni. India have made one change: Ravindra Jadeja makes way for Yusuf Pathan.

The pitches are better for batting in the evening.

Despite the rain on Saturday evening, the forecast for Sunday suggests a full game will be possible. The teams will be keeping in view the rain effects in particular for the outfield.
