PM announces Aslam Gil’s office equal to state minister

MIRPUR: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani Monday said it was Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto who launched Long March against restriction on media.

Addressing a public gathering in Mirpur Azad Kashmir, he said his party Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) is the name of a mission.

On the occasion, the PM Gilani announced to set up Mirpur Grid Station and Information Technology University in the area and gave go-ahead to Mirpur Airport.

He also announced a donation worth one crore rupees for Mirpur Press Club.

Aslam Gil’s office, the PM Gilani said, will be equal to that of a State Minister, saying, “I announce to make him the PM’s special adviser. SAMAA
