Mukhtar expects quick verdict in Mehran Bank case

Staff Report

LAHORE: Defense Minister Ahmed Mukhtar expects that accused in Mehran Bank scandal should be punished in a manner Wahida Shah was penalized unheard.

Speaking to newsmen here on Sunday, the Defense Minister said following the startling revelation of Younus Habib, whoever received money should face punishment. Is hamam mein sab nange hein, he said.

To a question, he said all Mehran Bank suspects should be penalized without getting the chance of being heard.

He believed that Younus Habib and memo case would become more complicated.

He said Sharif brothers accused President Zardari of corruption, which is pointing fingers at them.
