KARACHI: The woman manhandled by Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Wahida Shah during by-polls in Tando Muhammed Khan, pardoned her, SAMAA reports Saturday.

Meantime, the two women tortured by Wahida Shah—Presiding Officer Habiba Memon and Assistant Presiding Officer-- got their statements recorded during a hearing by Asghar Ali Sial, Returning Officer of Tando Muhammed Khan.

The two ladies, while talking to media here, noted that Shah came to their houses seeking forgiveness; accordingly, they have pardoned her.

The independent candidates from provincial constituency-53 also got their statements recorded. Irshad Shah, one of the candidates, said the arrangements by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) for the polling were poor. SAMAA
