LAHORE: A Bangladeshi security team has arrived in Islamabad to review security arrangements for upcoming cricketing tour to Pakistan, reports SAMAA Friday.
Security team will visit Kadhafi Stadium in Lahore tomorrow and will be briefed on arrangements for security of Bangladeshi players during the tour.
The security team includes members Interior Ministry, Chief Bangladesh Cricket Board, BCB Security Consultant. Interior Minister Abdul Rehman Malik will hold meeting with the security team today.
The movements of the security team is being kept secret due to security purpose however, PCB officials will hold meeting with the team somewhere in Lahore on March 4, sources said.
The doors to International cricket in Pakistan turned closed on March 3, 2009 when terrorists’ strike left some touring Sri Lankan cricketers injured. SAMAA
