ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff, General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani on Tuesday called on Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani at PM House Islamabad and exchanged views over national and regional security, SAMAA reports.

Besides discussing security issues, sources said, the two high ups exchanged views over Balochistan unrest, government’s APC on the issue and PM’s invitation to Taliban to join Afghan peace process.

Sources said, in the meeting, Gilani also held consultation with the army chief over appointment of new DG ISI and air chief in the wake of Lt. Gen. Ahmed Shuja Pasha and Rao Qamar Suleman’s retirement. SAMAA
