BADIN: Session judge on Monday set 41 farm workers at liberty who were recovered after a raid on a local landlord’s private jail, SAMAA reports.
On the orders of sessions’ judge, police along with civil judge and judicial magistrate, conducted the raid on a private jail belonging to Raees Ali Murad Nizamani in Badin’s Rajo Khanani area, and found the 53 detainees there.
The liberated farm workers, including 11 women and 23 children, were then produced before the sessions’ judge who set them at liberty after recording their statements. SAMAA
