KARACHI: Plenty of prominent personalities including key political figures and representatives of civil society have expressed abject sorrow at the sad demise of spiritual leaders of Hur Jamaat, Pir Pagara, reports SAMAA on Tuesday.
The leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI), Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said it is not easy to fill in the vacuum appeared in the politics of Pakistan after the death of PML-F’s Pir Pagara.
MQM’s leader Raza Haroon expressed condolence on behalf of his party chief Altaf Hussain. He said the departure of Pir Pagara has hit a hard blow to the politics of Pakistan.
PML-Q’s Kamil Ali Agha, condoling the demise of PML-F chief, has said no one can deny the services rendered by Pir Pagara himself and his family members for the sovereignty and protection of Pakistan.
Siddique Al-Farooq of PML-N, expressing profound grief over the sad news, has said Pir Pagara stood undeterred like a solid rock on the theoretical front.
Prominent journalist Arif Nizami has said late Pir Pagara was a historical personality, adding that he was ‘King Maker’ in politics.
Renowned columnist Nazir Naji has said Pir Pagara was an academy himself and no one could challenge his political power in Sindh.
