ISLAMABAD: Asma Jehangir, the former president of Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA), has refused to appear before a commission, formed by Supreme Court to probe memo scam.
In an interview on Sunday, Ms. Jehangir said she would not appear before the commission as she knew what would be its finding.
She said that Supreme Court’s decision to declare memo case as maintainable was unfortunate.
“I will approach the apex court,” she said.
“If Hussain Haqqani is innocent, why has he been barred from leaving the country,” she questioned? SAMAA
