ISLAMABAD: The All Pakistan CNG Association has announced to launch a campaign along with the opposition against increased gas breaks in the country, SAMAA reported on Sunday.
Earlier, the Federal Petroleum Ministry assured the CNG association of reduction in weekly gas breaks from two and half day to just two-day a week but ignoring that promise and truce, the government has increased gas closure to three-day.
According to the chief of CNG association, Ghayas Paracha, the SNGC can achieve the weekly gas saving target of 60 million CFT by closing CNG stations for just one and half day across Punjab but the powerful industrialists did not allow it.
Owing to the constant rise of petroleum products’ prices, more than 3.5 million vehicles have been transferred on CNG across the country. SAMAA
