KARACHI: Dawoodi Bohra community, in Karachi and other parts of the country, celebrated Eidul Azha on Sunday, SAMAA reports.
The community in Pakistan follows Egyptian calendar to mark the holy day across the country.
In Karachi, they offered Eid prayers in different mosques, with city’s largest congregation held at Tahiri mosque at Sadar area.
Nooruddin Bhai, the representative of Dawoodi Bohra community’s spiritual leader, Dr. Muhammad Burhan Uddin, delivered his sermon on the occasion.
Wearing their traditional dresses, a large number of young and old men enthusiastically joined the moot, and later sacrificed animals under religious obligation. SAMAA
