ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan has instructed on Monday to hand over corruption case of Pakistan Railways’ purchasing to the NAB, SAMAA reported on Monday.
A two-member bench of the Supreme Court led by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry resumed hearing of the suo moto case on Pakistan Railways.
The Supreme Court also issued instructions for completion of the process for disbursement of railway employees’ pension through the bank accounts.
Former railways minister Sheikh Rasheed and current Federal Secretary Railways leveled allegations against each other regarding corruption and misfits in the department.
Later on, the court adjourned hearing of the case till November 10. SAMAA
