KARACHI: Two suspected criminals have been booked in Karachi, police claimed, detailing that one miscreant was held from Lines Area with three rifles in his possession while another outlaw, believed to be the head of dacoit group, has been busted on University Road after a brief exchange of fire, SAMAA reported Wednesday.
Brigade police carried out raid in Lines Area upon the secret intelligence provided by law enforcement agencies, rounding up a political activist and seized three rifles from his possession.
Accused was later identified as Kamran alias Bengali.
Mohammed Hussain, an alleged head of a dacoit group, was nabbed on University Road after police intercepted former’s vehicle and ended up in a short shootout before arrest. Snatched mobiles, heavy amount of cash money, jewelry and a pistol was seized from him.
