KARACHI: Sindh Home Minister Manzoor Wasan has said that during Nawaz Sharif government he was jailed for possession of a Kalashnikov, while he had six such guns.
Speaking to newsmen at CPLC office today, he said that he had served the most years in jail after President Zardari.
“I was not even allowed to attend the funeral of my father,” the Home Minister said.
“I was charged with possession of a Kalashnikov in 1990, while I had six such guns.”
He further said he wants to turn Karachi into the abode of peace and intends to make it Quaid-e-Azam’s Karachi. SAMAA
