Karachi unrest: MQM to observe strike on Friday, Saturday

Staff Report
KARACHI: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has decided to observe strike on Friday and Saturday against the ongoing unrest in Karachi for last couple of days where 40 people have been killed in different areas, SAMAA reported Thursday.

The meeting of Rabita Committee (Coordination Committee of MQM) is being held simultaneously in Karachi and London where, sources informed SAMAA, the top leadership will decide to announce call for strike in the city for next two days.

The situation in Qasba Colony, Orangi Town, is worst where residents of the area are restricted to their homes and miscreants have made it hard for the law enforcement agencies to enter into the area.

Firing continues in the area, killing and injuring several people every day.  The unrest has also been reported in different areas of the city including Gulistan-e Jauhar, Garden and other areas.

The government has ordered law enforcement agencies to take strict action against miscreants. SAMAA

Yeh sari parties ka ha, chahay MQM ho ya ANP. sal milay hain. I think aslahay par pabandi lag jani chahiya. chahiay licensed ho ya un licensed.

Jis k pass aslaha ho usko goli mar day police ya rangers jo bhi hain. I think MQM ka strikes karnay se bahter ha k masla solve karway. they dont want to solve this. Itna hold ha karachi main aur ab to government bhi apni to lanat ha yaar k itna mandate aur power main honay k bawajud yeh ho raha ha.

ye sub nawaz shareef ka plan ha jis me ANP wale aur liyaari ka gangster uska sath da rahe hain. karachi k battareen halaat kharab kar ka MQM ka mandate kam karna chahte han aur koe waja nai ha kio k MQM wale inke bhatta lene aur lotmar karne me rukawat bane hoey hain insha Allah inka ye plane kamiyaab nai hone digi

MQM aur government se request ha k jald aise logo ka Karachi se safayaa karein..
