ISLAMABAD: Justice Shahid Siddiqui said on Tuesday while hearing the PCO judges contempt case that former judges supported a dictator when the Supreme Court opposed his orders.

The four-member bench headed by Justice Shahid Siddiqui is hearing the case.

S. M. Zafar, lawyer of a PCO Judge Justice Zahid Hussain, said we must forget the past and move forward eyeing international laws. “Nowhere in the world does a court issue a contempt notice to a judge,” he added. SAMAA
