ISLAMABAD: Security has been tightened in the two main Imam bargahs of Islamabad after the suicide blast in Lahore, said sources Friday.

“The security of Imam bargahs and all places of worship have been put on high alert to prevent any act of terrorism,” said Commissioner Islamabad Tariq Pirzada.

He said that the private guards are also deployed along with the police outside the places of worships.

“Search lights and additional walk through gates have been installed at the shrines of Bari Imam bargah and Golra Sharif,” he said. SAMAA
