Chaman faces severe power crisis

CHAMAN: The residents of Chaman are facing severe problems due to unscheduled long load shedding.

The residents of Chaman have got electricity for only 2 hours in the last 48 hours.

The areas of northern Balochistan including Chaman have got electricity for only two hours in last 48 hours. These areas are facing severe shortage of water due to non availability of the electricity. The scheduled operations have also been canceled due to unscheduled load shedding. The work of different departments including banks have been severely affected in these areas.

QESCO officials stated that the power crisis have worsened after the terrorists destroyed four towers of transmission line going from Sibi to Quetta. SAMAA
